Tara Green

Tara has been dancing under the tutelage of Kalae Kaina for several years and has begun to blossom into a fledgling solo dancer. She has been a student of Kalae’s stylized choreography and training methods and has combined Kalae’s exquisite technique with her own flair for comedy and drama. Tara has a childhood dance history including African, Hip Hop, and Modern Dance. She took the plunge in to belly dance and hasn’t looked back since. Well except for that one break-dance class…. She has taken workshops with a wide variety of Tribal dancers who have truly made a name for themselves on the global stage. She feels blessed to have been exposed to intensives with Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Kami Liddle, Sabrina Fox, Jill Parker, Heather Stance, and Kajira. She also has made a point to go every year to the Shakti girls favorite tribal dance festival, Tribal Fest in Sebastopol California since 2006. She is so happy to be a part of this women’s collective and she can’t wait to dance with you!
